KITE Projects were involved in a coastal defence scheme in Portsea to protect more than 4,200 homes from rising sea levels and flooding.
At Portsea, we were asked to design a solution that combined compliance with relevant British Standards, low visual impact, short production lead times and modular parts that could be easily replaced if necessary.
KITE Projects rose to the challenge, designing a scheme that met all the requirements, and also included high quality steel and coatings that have a long design life. The client was very pleased with the result.
