Bring on Rail Live 2026! Rail Live is creeping closer, and over at KITE Projects, preparations are in full swing. Stand K6 is already taking shape behind the scenes. Austins Lane: The First KITE Step Installation A few years back, KITE Projects reached an important milestone with the installation of the first full KITE Step system at Austins Lane. This project was delivered for Transport for London (TfL) on the Tube network, where previously only a muddy path ran alongside the track, making safe access a challenge.

The study, carried out by SavantaComes, found that 46% of Londoners prefer to travel long-distance by train, compared to 41% by car and just 10% via short haul flights. With these statistics in mind, it’s no wonder that the railway is one of the busiest infrastructure networks in the UK.

How often do you stop to think about the safety of level crossings? For millions of pedestrians and motorists, making the wrong decision can be life-changing. Yesterday, 5th June, was International Level Crossing Awareness Day, a worldwide initiative to improve safety at crossings, and reduce the number of incidents and near-misses.
